The 23rd Psalm speaks to every facet of life from the perspective of those who call the Lord “my Shepherd.” His sheep can trust in His character to lead them to places of abundance and rest as he leads them on right paths. While this journey passes through dark valleys, even there, His sheep can say “You are with me” —they are not alone. It is His goodness that pursues His people each day, leading them through those valleys into a life of abundance and ultimately to an eternal home with Him.
