Though we are often tempted to put our trust in people of power and influence, Psalm 146 reminds believers that the Lord alone is worthy of praise. Unlike earthly princes who die and cannot save, Jesus died in order to save. He takes our sin upon himself so that everyone who trusts in him is saved, and we can affirm the psalmist's sentiments as we declare, "All my life I intend to praise the Lord."
