This sermon from Jonah 1:4–8 reminds us that God is sovereign even in life’s fiercest storms. Jonah’s attempt to run from God leads him—and those around him—into danger. In the midst of the storm we are surprised that it is the sailors who cry for mercy, Jonah cries to no one. Ultimately this text makes us ask - What will you do on the storm?
