In Matthew 2:3–6, we see a striking contrast between those who know the Scriptures and those who go to worship Christ. The scribes and chief priests rightly identify Bethlehem as the Messiah’s birthplace, yet their knowledge never moves them to faith, awe, or action. We’re reminded of the danger of knowing the facts about Jesus without believing, worshiping, or coming to Him. True theology, must lead us beyond information to adoration, calling us to see the glory of Christ and respond in faith and worship.
