In the fifth Beatitude from Matthew 5:7, Jesus teaches His disciples that mercy is a defining mark of those who belong to Him and a true blessing of life in God’s kingdom. Having received God’s mercy at the cross, believers are called to reflect that mercy through costly compassion and heartfelt forgiveness. Motivated by God’s mercy and transformed by His Spirit, we learn the blessing of Christ-like merciful life.
