In Matthew 7:15-23 Jesus continues to conclude the Sermon on the Mount with another set of contrasts. There are people who produce good fruit and those who produce bad fruit. There is a warning about others, and there is a warning about ourselves. Jesus helps us recognize false prophets by identifying their fruit and Jesus warns us about self-deception. Do we really know Jesus and does he know us?
