Annual Meeting 2026
One June 7, 2026 we were thankful to share an update on our ministry with our church family at Parkside Kent. A recording of the meeting, our Annual Report handout, and a brief overview of our incoming Elder Interns are provided below.
Incoming Elder Interns
Dapo Oguntoyinbo
Oladapo “Dapo” Oguntoyinbo was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, and an M.Sc. in Information and Telecommunications Systems Management from Capitol College in Laurel, Maryland. He has been a member of Parkside Church since 2010. He works at Technical Assurance, Inc. in Willoughby, Ohio. Dapo and his wife, Wande, have three children—Monife, Sam, and Morayo.
Sam Prentis
Sam was born and raised in St. Louis. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College, which is where he met his wife, Brenda. Together they established their home in Northeast Ohio and are the proud parents of 4 grown children (and 7 grandchildren). Sam and Brenda reside in Hudson, and host a Parkside Kent Community group at their home. Professionally, Sam has worked in the banking industry for over 35 years and currently is an executive with Bank of America.
Randy Welton
Randon “Randy” Welton grew up in an Air Force family. He graduated from Penn State University before going to the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences where he received his M.D. He was trained and worked as a psychiatrist in the Air Force for 20 Years. He has been involved in training physicians for over two decades which brought him to northeast Ohio. Randy has been married to Michelle for 40 years and they have two children—Sean and Shannon. Randy and Michelle have an intense and abiding interest in the local Appalachian and Irish music scenes and can often be found traveling to listen to bands or play in sessions.
